American Hustle star Bradley Cooper has joined the board of directors at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp after volunteering as a cabin counsellor for children in the summer of 2006.

Founded by actor Paul Newman, the organisation provides support for seriously ill children and their families in Northeastern United States through a variety of year round programmes, including summer camps. Cooper said 'I was amazed at how the spirit of camp is able to help kids facing so much escape their illness, make fast friends and remember what being a kid is all about'.
